Bottle at home, bought at Hema in the centre. Pale golden with a very light haze, white head and active lacing which looks nice in the glass. Light sweet malts, white bread, grain. Light sweet and quite bitter hopped. Thin supple body, gelly grain thickness in the mouthfeel and the carbonation is about average for the style. Refreshing and crisp pilsner. --- Beer merged from original tick of Premium Organic Pilsener on 21 Nov 2017 at 16:58 - Score: 5. Original review text: 2.8

As De Leckere Premium Organic Pilsener, with the new style De Leckere label in blue and black. Thinly lacing, moussy, dense, snow white head over a clear, pale golden blonde coloured beer with somewhat greenish hue and quite lively sparkling. Aroma of field flowers, sugared lemon, sourdough, wet hay, red apple, flour, raw celery, honey. Crisp, clean onset, sweetish and sourish but not very fruity and both remain restrained, medium carbo, grainy, supple and thin body, bit minerally, light bready accent in the middle, leading to a finish of somewhat resiny, floral, bit spicy hop bitterness, quite ’noble’ as, indeed, in a classic German Pilsener, and of medium duration, drying the throat a bit without bittering thoroughly. Could do with a bit fuller bready malt sweetness perhaps as in this shape and form, it comes across as a bit thin and very grainy like many more industrial lagers which became bothersome in the end, but the hop profile is decent and this is clearly to be recommended over your average standard pale lager.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Pale yellow with a white head. Faint hop aroma with some grains. Nice bitter taste for a pilsener. All in all very German in taste and feel.

Geel helder bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en licht zuur. Lijkt op Lambic in plaats van pils. Etiket is inmiddels gewijzigd. Gedronken in restaurant Il Mediteraneo.

Bottled, BB 05/2014, large sample. On purpose drank this beer from the bottle, so cant really judge the appearance, but I guess pale yellow with a small fizzy head. Aroma of grainy malt, some german hops. Quite typical german classic lager actually (why is this a zwickel/keller/landbier actually?). Bit bitter in taste, crisp, bit dry, bit clean. Again, a typical german classic lager styled beer. Nothing wrong with it actually, quite enjoying it after a days work.
