From tap at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity and resinous hops with ripe (stone) fruits, notes of peach, marmalade, malt, pine resin, touch of caramel. Sweet flavour with a long bittersweet finish. Body is medium to full. Sweet and rich with lots of sweet ripe fruits and pine. Solid.

Sample on tap at Whatโs Brewing Beer Festival, Stavanger, as Buxton 9th Cloud Double IPA. Orange colour. Piney hops in the aroma. Loads of piney hops in the flavour too, also grapefruit. Decent malts, but not too sweet. One of the better beers of the festival.

Appearance is amber, pretty clear but then some sediment comes out of the can, with a small foamy head. Aroma is onion hints, pineapple, pithy orange, caramel, fruitcake, toffee malt, tropical fruit. Taste is orange, glazed fruit cake, fluffy malt, sweet tropical fruit, sticky caramel, juicy fruity hop resin, sweet sugary finish. Tasty.

15cl Tap at In de Wildeman. Hazy golden orange colour, dense off-white head. Aroma of creamy, buttery orange, marmalade, kumquat, some caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, buttery, marmalade, citrus, hint of caramel, hoppy bitter finish, light herbal. Medium bodied.
