This brown has a light on inside! The spark is sent to this beer via brown sugar, oatmeal, and chocolate malt. Neon Brown is a luscious stunner of balance between malt and hops. Flavor and body from aforementioned specialty malts are juxtaposed by gigantic quantities of Delta and Chinook hops that light up in resinous pine showing you down the hallway to the room of fantastic flavor

Can. Ok, several years ago . The California beer scene started putting mega hops in every beer imaginable. The thing is us malt lovers like malty beers. When one gets a porter or a stout or a brown ale we expect a strong malty flavor. Seems "California style" has made it to the southeast more and more. With that being said.....this is a really good beer. Yes it’s a tad hoppy but with it’s deep brown color, huge, long lasting head and lots of lace. It’s good.

Light roast and a little nut. Pours mahogany with decent head. Some tang in finish, some bitterness. A little bit of cloying sense in the finish. Tap at First Draft.

Very nice American brown, a good melding of cocoa-caramel malt notes with moderate citrus from the hops leading to a dry, piney back end. Hints of sweetness turn to mild dark fruit acidity, and the finish provides a lingering hop bite. Lovely pour come out a dark brown with red edges and massive lacing. Cocoa-pine nose is a nice touch. Creamy feel makes it way too easy to crush this beer.

Can: Soil and cocoa nose, pecan accents. Hazy brown, thick tan head, nice lace. Tree bark, cocoa, pecan. Coffee finish. Light body, easy carbonation. Complex for a session beer, very flavorful.

Very dark brown pour with a tall, long-lasting, dense head of tan. The aroma is dark roast malts - stout like. The flavor is also very roasty, some roast malt bitterness. Tasty beer, but not what i would call a brown ale. This ventures too far into stout territory.
