Roasted malts add bold notes of cocoa and coffee to this delightfully dark ale, while delicate sweetness of milk sugar creates a smooth, velvety finish.

12oz can thanks to Jeff. Pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is chocolate milk some coffee notes and a light roast. Taste is more of the milk chocolate some nutty not and a nice light roast coffee. Cracked this can in hopes to bring the buckeyes some luck during the Clemson NC game.

A surprisingly good looking pour from a can, big foaming to rocky head. Taste is almost cloying sweet stout, overly so. Much more milk in this is apparent compared to other milk stouts. Yes, perhaps the alky content makes this a little too forward. Smooth and velvety it is but couldnโ€™t drink a few of these. Charcoal aftertaste with cloying finish. Canโ€™t get used to this. Not impressed by sweet stout attributes.

Sampled in draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a black color with a large creamy brown bear that left decent lacing. The aroma was roasty, malty, a bit smoky and had a touch of lactose. The flavor was bitter and smoky with coffee, a faint sour note and a bit of lactose. Long finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

Chunky thick beige head on top of a black body. The nitro takes some of the heft away, but leaves the rich sweetness. Rich cocoa. Lactic touches. Good. Roasty sweet.

Sample at the tap room. The beer pours dark brownish-black with a medium creamy tan head that recedes slowly. Sheets of lacing on the glass. The aroma is roasty with chocolate and coffee notes. Light to medium body with a roasted malt character and flavors of milk chocolate and coffee. The finish is roasty with a mocha aftertaste. Decent overall.
