Bottle at Valhalla. Murky darker reddish body, off-white thick head. Creamy stone fruit, candied citrus and caramel aroma, yet lean and dry. Old school, lower alcohol than expected in the aroma, some resin. Dry bit astringent taste, very herbal, citric, big bitter finish, some alcohol. Endearingly old school but also stuck in 2010.

In my opinion, it is a great IPA, the bitterness is perfect, citrus, good choice of hop, some malt, I really like this brewery, 25.12.16, at Lausanne, Prélaz.

Bottled. Pours a murky burnt orange brown. Lots of head that lingers. Orangey aroma with pine and some light caramel. Resin hints and citrus, with malts.

Good aroma, some nice citrus and grapefruit with some light caramel malts. Medium mouth feel, regular carb. As it warms the malts really meld with the hops and become quite sweet, and turns the beer into a hoppy caramel mess. Finishes quite bitter with a big dose of resin hops and sweet malts.

Aroma of light malt, tropical fruits, citrus, some pine, light resin, floral notes, strong hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a dry bitter finish. Nicely balanced, very good Imperial IPA.
