IPA - Imperial / Double Regular
Score
7.10
ABV: 8.9% IBU: - Ticks: 55
The Techno Double Ipa presents an intense amber colour with a compact white head. The hops used, Simcoe and Chinook, give it pleasant exotic and fruity notes of mango and grapefruit, making it even more inviting.

Despite the high alcohol percentage, this beer is surprisingly drinkable. The looping single malt as its base and the high frequencies of the hop included during the boil, as well as of the dry hopping, deliver an extrasensory rave party.

Bottle at Hoppy Days, Amsterdam. Aroma is sweetish tropical fruits, citrus, orange, tangerine, some malty caramel, pine resin, big hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Nicely full and thick body. Wonderful balance, smooth bittersweet fruity piney IIPA!

Bottled 330ml. -from Carrefour Chamonix. Darker orange/golden coloured, minimal white head, caramel and weak fruit in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, alcohol, weak fruity and nearly dead hops with obvious oxidation. Dusty peppery finish. The hop profile is allready dead but the BBE date is March 2024???

Tap @ VAF 2018 / 01.12. Orange pour, bit cloudy. Marmalade hops, tropical fruits with fresh bitterness. Taste is also fruity, sweet, dried mango and pineapple. Bit of dried banana. Hop marmalade there also. Dry herbal hop bitterness in the finish. Nice balanced DIPA, hides abv very well.
