Tap mad mex. Friendly mild perfume aroma. Hazy fun look about it. First taste is a big bitter impression but has a unique creamy feel about it. Not just mouth coating, it really has a smooth creamy feel, almost slick & oily. Comes across quite fresh. Not sure why this is a double IPA cause it hides the alky very well. Big head. Terribly on style for an impressive IPA.

32oz growler fill pours with a near clear deep gold body that has some copper hues and supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up inviting green bell pepper meat, tangerine, thin earthy spiciness, a dash of mint and strawberry. The taste delivers bitter spicy hops, candied tangerines, a thin pulse of earthy bell pepper and a sliver of mint. Behind those notes is a mango like juicy hoppiness. This comes together nicely. It’s juicy, bitter, deep and brimming with hoppiness.

Pours deep gold into a snifter. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet weed and tropical fruit aromas. Dry with mango and passionfruit upfront turning to resin in the lasting finish.

Tap at Harry’s Hofbrau in Redwood City. Restrained aromas of slight orange and crackers. A little bit of meadow with lavender. Faint floral. Moderately hazy orange with moderate white head tha tleaves a collar and also has slight patterns down the glass. Taste is moderate low citrus and pine. Heavy bitterness leaves it finishing a little rough.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a hazy golden color with a large fluffy white head that rose over the glass, lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tart, lemony and perfumey. The flavor was tart and bitter with notes of sour mash, lemon, perfume, chalk, pepper and phenol. Long hoppy finish that turned dry. Medium body. Meh.

Crowler fill shared with brenn79, thankee-sai. Aroma is tropical, a lil musty, peach. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a cream colored head with great retention and curtains of lace. Taste is medium level bitter with some candy malt sweetness alongside. Onion/garlic comes out after a couple minutes. Aroma started out damn near perfect before the oniony hops came out. Ended up being pretty good overall. I just wish the hop character it started out with was what it ended up with.

Draft pour pint at Frankie’s Pizza. Counting down the days until we say goodbye to this place. I love finding reasons to celebrate by drinking good beer. Golden orange pour with a good amount of foam head. Juicy, melon, citrus hops. Love the hop profile here. Not surpised. Enjoying this on the same day I used these two hops in my homebrew. Delicious IPA here.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with shit tons of little clumpy floaties, large beige head, creamy with good lacing. Aroma is underwhelming, green tea and citrus. Flavor follows, light plus sweet, light plus bitter, lots of tea notes. Medium body. Meh.
