Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy ruby with small pinkish white head that lasts. The aroma is spice, berry, wet diaper, funk. Slick body, blackberry, brett, light tartness, dry finish, good.

500ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy ruby reddish orange color with 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tart/tangy blackberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, plum, orange, pear, red/green apple, red grape, melon, hay, straw, grass, pepper, wheat, and white bread; with light notes of oak, vanilla, musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, blackberries, and light-moderate pale malt/oak notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/tangy blackberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, plum, orange, pear, red/green apple, red grape, melon, hay, straw, grass, pepper, wheat, and white bread; with light notes of oak, vanilla, musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy blackberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, plum, orange, pear, red/green apple, red grape, melon, hay, straw, grass, pepper, wheat, white bread, light oak/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, blackberries, and light-moderate pale malt/oak flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance; and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from tart/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, grainy/acidic/tangy, and lightly tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited wild saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, blackberries, and light-moderate pale malt/oak flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly tart/tangy/spicy/drying finish. Great well rounded Brett and saison yeast complexity with balanced berries; solid oak presence and malt backbone. Not as jammy as I hoped for, but I think the saison yeast has a lot to do with that. A very enjoyable offering.

From a bottle. Pours a clear rose with a scant head. Aroma of berries and vonegar. Flavors of blackberries, a hint of oak and tart citrus. Light bodied and refreshing.

Tasting at Matt’s
Red-amber color, bright, with small head. Nice aroma, berries and Brett. Bone dry mouthfeel, weak, without much flavor to talk about.
Boring.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy pinkish red with a small off-white head. Aroma is pretty subdued, bringing out very light blackberry tartness, a little pith, and some tannins. Flavour is along the same lines, with subdued tart blackberry notes, light tannins, and a touch of acidity. Light and restrained with not a whole lot going on, but it's pleasant enough.
