Bottle, 0.355l. Clear straw color with large frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, grassy, dusty and yeasty. Taste starts with light sweet grainy maltiness, following is slightly vinous, mouthfeel soon becomes spicy, while finish is light bitter. Light body, thin texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Argentina’s famous dog piss??? And I know my rating is very generous, but I liked the aroma...

355 ml can from Niku no Hanamasa @ Toritsu Daigaku. First time for me to try a beer from Argentina. Pours pale, with artificial-looking white foam that dissipates within a minute. Aroma is usual "Asian lager"-style - a bit sweet, not appetising at all. I try to gulp it… and it goes down like a faintly barley flavoured sparkling water. Has a bit of sweetish, not so pleasant malt presence and almost no hops to talk about. Usual mass produced cheap industrial lager - and not at its best.

Bottle from Tesco, drunk at a cold train station somewhere in Yorkshire. 2 months out of date but still tasted ok, I think. Refreshing full-bodied amber, good train beer.

Pours very , very clear and light yellow . Small white head that fades fast . No smell Barely any taste . some corns, and a ... rather weird bitterness. No hops in the taste, thats for sure ! Bit sugary , Tiny bit of perfumed ( fruity, almost , if you concentrate on it ) Overall, it does not drink natural, but I can see this work as a cheap refreshment in Argentina , why not ..

Drunk from bottles & on draft at various places around Buneos Aires in 2005. It poured a light gold with a thin head of fizzy foam that vanished fast. The taste wasn’t that bad, less sugary sweet than many other lagers in South America. A Passable macro.

Pours clean, golden. Topped with a finger of white head that settles down quickly. The aroma is very faint, although you can point out some minimal amount of hops and grains. There are sweet grains in the taste, slightly watery body, finish has just a touch of bitterness. Refreshing, drinkable, nothing out of the ordinary, really.

355ml bottle. Clear straw yellow-gold colour, foamy white head that slowly diminishes and grainy aroma. Taste is sweetish grain, corn, faint metallic hop and light bitterness. Watery, light bodied, medium carbonation, dryish cardboardy finish. A bland lager.
