On tap. Poured a clear gold with a thin white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma was thin with a bit of grass and hay. Flavor was equally bland with some grass and hay coming through but not much here.

Location: Tap at Helmer's, 4/24/10

Aroma: It has a light nose consisting mostly of floral and grass notes
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear yellowish color with a thin head
Flavor: Taste is balanced, light-medium sweet, light-medium bitter
Palate: Body is fairly light, average-plus carbonation, and a touch watery
Overall Impression: I've certainly had this beer before, but this is my first time rating it. It is a decent German style lager, with a decent flavor. Nothing too special, but a drinkable example of the style.

In the aroma i can feel some bad metal, but i’m pleased to recognize, that it aint no earth-bound as i firstly thought. It has a beautiful silky body, light hoppiness and very pleasant long mouthfeel. Nice golden color and medium white head. Solid, still serious palate, and fine dry feel in the nose. i’m impressed by this, i’ve waited less. Delicous.

12oz bottle. Pale golden yellow color, lots of active C02 bubbles rising to meet the foamy off-white head. Classic noble hop and sweet malt aroma. Rather light bodied, a little doughy with a slightly rough dirty edge to it. Not very impressive, potentially much better fresh of course, this bottles age is suspect. Dry and sweet finish. Pretty shabby overall.
