Fles 33cl thuis. Fruitig, wat rood fruittonen, steenfruit, peer, yeasty, licht kruidig, honingtonen, citrus, zoetig, lichte bittertonen. (26-11-2023).
Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Label ‘Witkap Special Amber 5.5%’. Pours a hazy amber colour with a medium sized creamy off white head. Aromas of yellow fruits, bananas, cloves, apples, pears, melon and a little bubblegum and candy. Taste has the same notes with a little touch of peppery spice on the finish. Thinnish watery mouthfeel and light carbonation. Nice flavour for the low abv. Pleasant beer that i will try again some day. Good

*rating overgezet 2015* Het is een donkerbruin bier met een beige medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat zoete geur. De smaak is moutig, licht gebrand en caramel achtig.

Tap @ Café Morshuis Albergen. Deep dark brown color. Slightly roasty, milky flavor with pear drups and a hint of raspberry. Soft maltaroma. Slightly roasty finish. Decent enough. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Greut Lawauitj on 26 Aug 2019 at 12:07 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Orange, hazy. Thick creamy head. Orange, lemon and grapefruit in the aroma, with a touch of oak. Creamy, citric, yeasty flavor. Just a bit on the thin side. Pleasant aroma, the taste is OK, nothing more.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen en Benzai. Gelig, oranje-achtig bier met weinig schuim. Aroma en smaak is kruidig en zoetig. Geen nasmaak.
