Nice sweet malt aroma with some hop notes. Dark amber, foggy, medium offwhite head. Tastes syrup sweet, not very bitter, balanced. A litter dry finish, medium body.

Bottle. Clear copper/amber with a decent white head. Aroma of oranges, malts, zest, some herbs and mild lemons. Taste of oranges, caramel, malts, herbs and marmelade. Pretty strong (herbal) bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Very balanced. Way more flavourful than I expected. Great.

Appearance is amber, quite clear, with a 1-2 finger foamy beige head. Aroma is malt, orange peel, marmalade hints, zesty hop fruit. Underlying biscuity malt. Taste is full fruity hops, fluffy malt, biscuity notes, hints of nutty malt, orange, trace of citrus fruit, brambly English hops.

Bottled India pale ale in the completely traditional English way - and therefore basically the same as an English style pale ale. Thanks Craftmember for sharing. Medium thick, snow white, fine-bubbled, dotty-lacing, largely stable head on a crystal clear, warm amber-tinged orangey golden blonde beer. Aroma of dried thyme, herb cheese, crackers, Naan bread, jute, moist paprika powder, old cotton cloth, hay, peanuts. Dryish onset, some dried plantain but low in fruitiness, medium carb, supple and slick mouthfeel; dry cracker- and bread crust-like maltiness, bit peanutty, bittered by a herbal, noble hoppiness, ending quite rooty and quinine-like with light accents of old dried grapefruit peel and 'herbes de Provençe', but also something cheesy (herb cheese, abbey cheese even), dry, long and a bit 'dusty'. Very old school and very English, an IPA the way nobody these days imagines it - but completely in the vein of IPA in its historically original form. Too bad for the pasteurization, though, I wonder what this tastes like with live yeast still in it.

Ordentliches, englisches (I)PA, schön hopfig, bitter, leicht Karamell, leichte Frucht, spät trocken, passt. Schöne Flasche.
