One of our brewery's oldest beers and one of the earliest, Italian-made American Pale Ales. In recent years, it has not been produced on a regular basis as priority has been given to hoppier, trendier beers. However, in response to pressure from loyal customers like the people from the Ligera pub (which was named after our beer), we have decided to relaunch this classic, Made in Lambrate beer. A decisive contribution was also made by the petition signed by 101 customers from Hop Pub in Milan requesting the return of one of their favourite brews. We will present the new Ligera, at Hop Pub in Milan, during their party to celebrate International Women's Day.

Tap. Birra Craft Beer, Berlin. Hazy gold. Dense, lacing, lasting, off white head. Nose has candied peel. Some toffee. Some white pepper. Some leafy hop. Taste is clean, green, peppery bitter. Light to medium body. A little astringency, maybe. More spicy hop to finish.

Dec. ’16. On tap at Ma Che, Rome. It poured almost clear yellow body with medium sized head. Weaker aroma of nice citrus Cascade hops with light biscuit and honey malt. Flavor was bitter, beautiful bitterness showcased citrus, herbs and fresh grass. Malty, lightly sweet counterpart reminded of biscuit and caramel. Not particularly rich in body, let’s say medium, with moderately long bitter, dry herbal finish. Well executed pale ale.

Bottle gift from daniele, thank you. Orange semi clear pour, decent off white foam with retention and drafts. Nose: some amber, ripped orange pulp, fruit jam. Mouth: a bit shy but solid, distinctive bitterness and quite mineral finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ Luppolo 12
Tap said ”Ligèra”, chalkboard ”American Magut”
Aroma is somewhat mild with fruity hops and grain. Flavour has grapefruit, resin and grainy malt. Unusual pils; resiny and fruity. Also caramel and pine are present. Refreshing, easy to drink yet rich. Feels actually like a session IPA.
