Originally released a for the Chesterfield CAMRA festival. Renamed as Wild Raven in 2013 due to another beer going by the name "Raven" elsewhere The recipe for the brew came from James Kemp who used Maris Otter, Black Patent and Chocolate malt along with Nelson Sauvin, Centennial and Sorachi hops. The beerhas bitter ness and hop character and plenty of malt flavours to give it complexity.

440 ml can. Dark brown with a foamy head. Pine, roasted toasted malt, dark chocolate, grapefruit, toffee, dark bread, tobacco, hints of vanilla. Hoppy bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter roasty finish. Really nice, very smooth and full bodied, very balanced.

On cask at the Euston Tap. Pours beautiful black with a small consistent creamy beige head. Aroma is very fresh, hoppy, citrussy with a little bit of sour cream/dairy. Taste is initially full on hoppy bittterness, but smooths off after a couple of sips into a creamy and malty experience. Smooth and medium bodied beer. Finish is initial bitterness fade into smooth. Lovely!
