An aromatic copper-coloured pale ale brewed from the finest malted barley and Kentish hops for a refreshing taste and a fruity finish. Deliciously fruity with spicy citrus hop aromas, SKRIMSHANDER goes well with good food and fine friends and has the clean fresh taste and dry hoppy finish of a great Kentish ale.

Cask at The Haymarket. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas are light biscuit, light lemon and floral notes. Taste brings a lightly spicy note, but otherwise sweet. Thin finish. OK.

Bottle. Pours light amber in colour, and clear. One finger short-lived head. Lots of hops and fruit in the aroma. Taste is a bit fruity, caramel, malt hints, lots of hop bitterness, with a medium mouthfeel. Nice.

Bouteille 50cl as Canterburry Cathedrale Ale. BB 10/2014. Sympa.

Bottle, served a bit too cold. Pine, citrus and malt in the aroma. Taste is soft, malty base with caramel and biscuit along with bitter and citrusy hoppiness. Soft carbo, oily texture. High drinkability.

50cl Bottle from Drankenhandel Francoise. Slightly hazy honey/copper colour, white head. Aroma of toffee, confit fruits, some sweet lemon, old hops. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, toffee, fruits, some citrus, light-bitter finish. Light-bodied, oily mouthfeel. Thoroughly enjoyable IMHO.

Appearance: Cloudy cognac color with a fine white head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty and hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Solid malty and balanced hoppy backbone.
Overall impression: Nice tasty bitter. I tend to like British bitter when they have a fine carbonation.
Personal stats: Bottle Dag had bought at Systembolaget in Sweden.

Bottled, shared by Ot the Explorer. Clear amber color, short head. Aroma of earthy and flowery hops, not really outspoken, english yeast notes, hint of butter, caramel, toast. It feels for me these kinds of beers should be better drank from cask. Soft bitter taste, slight sweetness. Typical English bitter, hard to distinguish this from other bitters when it’s the only bitter in a tasting.
