(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE wasn’t marked, at Pikkulintu, 20130526) The beer poured deep mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, sweetness and metallicness. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, sweetness, caramell, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. Way oversweet beer. No off-flavours but aging would cut the sweetness.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a thick cloudy amber with a small, beige head. Rich overripe fruit in the nose, some phenols and quite a boozy touch. Rich body, thick and syrupy, overripe fruit, a little roast and a surprisingly bitter finish. Quite some booze in the finish. Decent if not the most sophisticated Quad. 150413
