Backlog June 2009. Slightly unclear orange body under a small, dense white head. Aroma is fruity, yeast and banana. Taste is quite refreshing with citric fruits, banana and low bitterness. A bit short in aftertaste.

Old rating from 12-12-14 - 500ml bottle. Pours amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of banana, clove, cereal, hints of coriander, grain & yeast. Medium body. Smooth finish.

great hefe pour, lovely aroma of bananas, cloves, and some light bubblegum. Great flavour! the banana, and clove esters are perfect, amazing example of the style, who knew the dutch could make sucha great hefe.

Twistop-Bottle: This is just great from a Big Dutch-brewery to try an German Whitebeer insted of a Belgian White. Hazy yellow colour with the typical big head, and the banana/citric taste.

In de tuin uit een beugelfles. Troebel, gouden kleur. Redelijke weizen, maar mist het volle van de Duitse collega’s. Licht waterige nasmaak.

Hazy golden to orange colour, medium sized dense snow-white head; aroma and taste of wet wheaty/bread crusty, citrusy-lemon zesty, banana and clove notes; good weizen

Glas thuis geprobeerd, het is een troebel geel bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een gistachtige geur, de smaak is gistachtig, banaan en deeg achtig.

Light orange color, cloudy, steady head. Orange, banana and honey in the aroma. Sweetish, rather yeasty herbal flavor with mandarin and banana. Hint of butter. Dry yeasty finish. Not bad, in fact better as expected.
