Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Somewhat creamy aroma with licorice and hints of chocolate. Creamy, velvety flavor, almost medium bodied, with milk chocolate, raisin, licorice and hints of smoke. Some herbal hops in the finish. Very drinkable porter.

Super over-carbonated, like fizzy soda. But otherwise a decent beer, lots of flavor. Light body, online belgian beer factory

0.33l from drinkshop. Black color with extremely high bubbly beige head. Aroma: lots of green apples, light roast coffee, chocolate, hint of dark berries. Taste: heavily overcarbonated, which is ruining what could be a decent brew, more of green apples, it also has some filter coffee and dark chcolate. Most probably infected, unfortunatelly.

Keg at Beavertown Taproom, left over from Beaver Ex 18. Translucent mid-to dark brown with a large but quickly dissipating cream/khaki head. Mostly coffee on the nose, with lesser suggestions of blackberry, salt liquorice and biltong. Sweet taste with fruity black coffee and gritty malt flavours, with a little bit of hop bitterness in the finish. Very thin body. Lots and lots of carbonation. Not the best De Molen have to offer but it's certainly solid.

Tap at the brewery. Very dark Ruby red color, truck creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts with cherry and chocolate, backed by a bit of coal. Decent hops, mild bitterness, surprisingly dry and easy to drink.

Tap at Lager Lager. Blackish, creamy tan head. Light metallic coffee roast aroma, wide wood, seaweed, mint and licorice notes. Relatively light dry body, initially feels a bit thin, but the broad flavor profile compensates: Salty on the palate, licorice, chocolate. Brownie finish. Good balance
