@ Moeder Lambic Sint Gillis. Dark brown/black colour, beige foam. Bitter and earthy. Notes of charcoal and caramel. Heavy carbonation. Some metallic notes. Ok.

0.33 l bottle at Hoppiness, Koper, Slovenia. Dark brown. Big creamy tan head. Medium carbonation, full body. Very roasty, coffee, caramel. Sweet and roasty, strong mouthfeel. Roasty finish. 0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with Višnja 666 and Nikola. Murky dark brown, off-white head. Light aromas of dry fruits, wood and light peat. Roasty with some sweetness. Medium body, light to medium carbonation, moderate roasty finish. Unusually light Porter, good but without character.

0,33 bottle purchased at The Hoppy imp. in Greece, aged and consumed in Kosovo. Bottled 14/10/2013 (2 years old). Pours dark chestnut skin color, initial brownish cap lowering fast and leaving a decent gassy lacing. Nose: coffee smoothie, silky coffee very balanced, some grassy notes in the background. Mouth: soft carbonation (aging helped in this I think), watery with a smooth coffee character but easy, medium low body. The end is bitter but not that aggressive, due to the aging became more peppery han grassy which I like. Surprisingly tasty this one.

Black with a brown head - Roasted malt aroma with chocolate - Good roasted malt body with some chocolate and coffee notes with hints of bitterness in the back - Malt and chocolate goes into the finish - This was real nice

Bottle from Drinkshop. Clear very dark colour with delicate sediment, pour carefuly. Stable beige head. Aroma dark fruits, dried fruits, sweetish chocolatey toffee maltiness. Taste reveals lots of roasted malts, roasted, burnt flavours, cocoa, rather bitter (moderate) with a thin body, bitterness coming mostly from dark malts. Restrained fruitiness, mostly about the roast in taste. Good one.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com, stated ABV of 5.2%..A really dark mahogany colour with a tight beige head; aroma of well-done toast and milky coffee; rich malty bittersweet taste, with some red berries, and green coffee beans; and a smooth finish, with a sophisticated gentle chilli-like heat, and some lingering bitter chocolate. Very good indeed.

Deep brown colour, cloudy, , thin beige head. Earthy aroma with lots of coffee. Light to medium body. Dry taste with coffee profile. Well balanced. Hoppy finish. Pleasant. Good.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($4.25): Pours dark brown with a big frothy tan head. Aroma is lightly fruity, bready, and yeasty. It kind of smells like a brewery in a good way. Taste is sweet and bready. Hoppiness is pretty light. Chocolate is there. This bottle is a bit old, but it seems to have aged rather nicely.

Beautiful amber color with tan head. Roasted malt, berries, surprisingly no chocolate. Taste is more roasted malts and berries, bittersweet. Juicy mouthfeel. Red vine feeling. Nice and surprising, like so many De Molens!
