12oz bottle. Deep brown-black body. Thin fading beige head. Malty, sweet. The Belgian yeast is pretty tame, but certainly adds some deep cherry plum fruity tone. Doesn't really go for or capture any Belgian mouthfeel, more of a boring standard feel which isn't that true to style. Drinks more like a Winter Warmer. Solid value for the price, a respectable offering.

I was really expecting something more here, kind of a let down. Aroma is nice with some caramel toffee yeast and Spice. Average appearance. What flavor is on the Bland side slightly sweet little malt little Carbonic Tang. Body is a tad thin. Overall it's forgettable.

Tap at the brewery. This does not fit perfectly into the Belgian Strong category, the alcohol is low. The carbonation is also low compared to some of the better Belgian examples. Dark color; some head. Aroma has sweet malt. Thick, syrup like palate. Dried fruit. Sweet overall.
