Reuss is produced for the Bink festival. Marc Limet blends the lambic with a less bitter version of Bink Blond (38 IBUs versus 52 IBUs.) Reuss was the name of the first beer brewed at Kerkom in 1878.

750ml caged and corked bottle. Cork reads 07 04 15.
Pours a clear pale gold, bringing heaps of foam, lots of sticky lacing.
Big tart notes in the smell, light Brett, acetic, yet something in there presents a sweet note or two.
Tart more than sour, light Brett, acetic presence minor, some sweetness. Lovely.
Mouthfeel is fine, finish is on the dry side.
I'm glad that I picked up this bottle. It's very pleasing.
Second pour and the foam got all wild and tried to overflow. Lots more bubble action as well. No deductions of points for that.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Lovely stuff! High carbonation makes it very refreshing and easy to drink. Aroma is pleasantly tart and fruity. Lemon, bit of dust and funk too. Taste is great, nice tartness, bretty, with light citrus, touch of creaminess and some honey. But definitely not sweet. Not so sour but has a little prickle. These kind of blends are always right up my street!

Bottle. Etre Gourmet. Unwrapped the cage and the cork nearly took a wall down! Surprisingly though, it didn’t gush. Pours a clear, lively, dark yellow gold. Thick and dense, lasting, white head. Nose has dried lemon peel. Preserved lemon. Straw. Cut wood. Green leaf. Soft, brett like funk. It isn’t a million miles from a fresh Orval. Taste has a lemon sweetness, with some dry, and funky bitterness. Light body. Lively carbonation. Nice twang of sweet and sour to finish. Very nice.

Flaska från Belgiuminabox. Bärnstensfärgad, krämig skumpuck, disig. Doftar som en lambic, men lite snällare och mer anonym. Drucken iskall, känns betydligt lättare, som en lågalkhollambic trots sina 6,5 abv, mycket snäll syra och kanske inte så mycket karaktär men en fin törstsläckare i sommarvärmen. Gott

Bottle from Belgiuminabox.com. Piwo ma blyskawicznie rosnaca pianke, malo trwala, kolor zbrudzono zoltawy, lekko mgliste, ale bez zauwazalnego osadu na dnie spodu wkleslego na kciuk. Zapach silny, cytryny, a raczej jej skorka, limonki i zapach kwitnacych slonecznikow. W smaku kwaskowe, ciasto cytrynowe, sok z limonki, przyjemne wytrawne i delikatne, przy czym bardzo pijalne. Wytrawnosc tu rzadzi zdecydowanie tak jak lubie.
