Small acts nurture growth and exploration. This single batch of grisette aged in oak barrels is a seedling in our development. Budding with notes of pear and honeydew alongside accents of freshly cut grass and crackery grain, Small Acts showcases the coexistence of a saison mixed culture yeast expression and a simpler grain bill.

Bottle share at Zwanze. Lighter pour as per style. Nose is grassy and floral tastes of wheat, grass, some wood and vanilla, crackers light peppery notes, Belgian character. Light bodied and refreshing change of pace on the day

Light, refreshing, citrus tart and wild notes. They need to can these so I can take em to the beach! Oaky notes on the nose and back as well.

Very pale and hazy. Thin head. Aroma up front with the brett, sweet pale malt, with a nice berryish note. This is pretty solid, subtle. Just a touch of tartness. Woody finish.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours bright translucent gold. Aroma is very Belgian - made me think (irrationally) of Fruits de Bois. Extremely pleasing aroma. Fresh. A bit mixed fruit/leaf. Med body or nearly. Flavor is dry, fruity, earthy. Subtly sour, but very clean. Definite non-musty oak notes. Excellent ale.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy straw-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lace. Aroma of citrus, herbal yeast, oak and malt. Medium body with flavors of funky fruit, oak, peppery yeast and malt. The finish is mildly funky with a fruit and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
