Tripel Karmeliet is a classic golden Belgian Tripel with a distinct character from the use of three grains.
Appearance: Rich and refined deep Golden colour with a creamy white foam
Aroma: Very refined & complex; with hints of vanilla mixed with herbs and citrus
Flavour: A medium-bodied beer that is delicately warming. There is a freshness from the wheat and a creamy mouthfeel from the oats. Rich notes and soft sweetness of lemon cake join with hints of coriander seed and hay and a quinine-like dryness on the finish.

Pours amber with a thin frothy white head. Aroma of slightly lactic malt. Taste has overripe fruit, slight stone fruit, ferrous, like a heavier hefe base. Palate has some more fruit, banana, stone fruit, ferrous.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, malzig, getreidig, leicht hopfig, fruchtig mit Banane und etwas Vanille. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

How in the name of God have I not reviewed this beer? It's one of my all time favourites. Mildly sweet hay malts, sweet mildly bubblegum notes, coriander, citrus with clean finish. If you see this beer buy two, and send one to me. We haven't seen this in Ontario in 5 or 6 years.

Servida en tulipa, color dorado, abundante y cremosa corona de espuma. Aroma delicioso y bastante complejo a Levadura belga, pan, cereales, plátano, naranja, floral... es una cerveza que se disfruta tanto por la nariz como por la boca. Cuerpo ligero, textura suave, aterciopelada, tonos cítricos, malta, cereales...ligeramente ácida, perfectamente equilibrada, evoluciona a tonos más dulces tanto en boca como en nariz a lo largo de la cata. Excelente cerveza, imprescindible probar.

Bottle from Cheers Liquor Store, Todmorden. Golden with thick creamy-frothy head. Fruity nose, more Belgian wheat styling in taste. Has a carbonation notable in taste, which does hide its strength well.

Tap at Nomad. 1 dollar! Peppery banana touched aroma. Deep yeast tone. Soft, pillowy body. Mineral faint hop balance. Really mellow and creamy, the body makes it work as compared to brewpub US examples which fully miss that facet. Really nice on tap, different experience.
