Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with a nice large dark brown color foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of bourbon with some vanilla notes and black chocolates. Taste is also dominated by a well-balanced mix between some vanilla, bourbon, creamy black chocolates and light bitterness. Body is thinner then I had anticipated with good carbonation and no alcohol was apparent. Very solid barrel-aged stout but I would have loved a bit more of body to this beer.

A deep dark stout with a thick dark brown head. In aroma, a beautiful chocolate malt with soy sauce, iodine, coffee grind, very nice. In mouth, a beautiful sweet mocha chocolate, coffee grind, alcohol warmth, rich and complex. Shared with GRM and Boutip. Merci Phil.

Bottle thanks to hubsluvsbeer: Poured a deep black with very whispery tan head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, and bourbon. Wow there is so much going on in the taste, vanilla, chocolate, bourbon, and malt. Alcohol tingle in the finish.

Bottle [from trade with Boltz7555] shared with Dutchdrebus, Ansjelaah and Joes @ weekly tasting. Opaque pitch black color, small medium brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, slightly peat, roasted malts, lots of bourbon. Taste moderate to heavy malty, some hops, liquorice, alcohol, bourbon, again a touch of peat. Full body, medium carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. 2012 version. Pitch black with a small light brown head. Smells bourbon, almond, hazelnut, roasty, dark chocolate, roasty, alcohol. Love it. Tastes bourbon, wood, almond, hazelnut, hint of cherry, dark chocolate, roasty. Amazing taste. Full bosy, silky, nice carbo.

Bottle shared thanks to trade with Kraddel. Pours black with a ring brown head. Aroma of massive bourbon, vanilla, toffee, fudge, milk chocolate, malt, oak, molasses. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Creamy and perfectly balanced, intense yet mellow, this is incredible. Full bodied with very soft carbonation.

Had outside at the Az crews epic driveway tasting that I was so kindly invited to. Another gem makes an appearance. Its 95 degrees out Im sitting in direct sun and im drinking 10% imp stout and couldn’t be happier. Pours black with purplish head. nose of huge molasses and dark chocolate. tastes of bourbon sweetness, dark chocolate, molassess, coffee, earthy, vanilla, and every dark fruit that exists. creamy mouthfeel and lives up to hype. kick ass

Bottle from International; pitch black pour with quickly disappearing head, alcohol hit in the aroma, love the slick mouthfeel,bourbon taste not overwhelming just where it should be, vanilla, dried fruit wished it was a 750 hope we meet again.
