Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours very dark brown with a large creamy tan head. Aromas of peanuts, chocolate and rye. Near full bodied. It's creamy cinnamon, peanut, chocolate, maybe coffee, darkish toffee. Rye almost gets lost, as does the wood. This stuff is not dry, heat and rye battle the sugar, and it's really tasty. The whiskey aspect is more noticeable with time. The heat is not an issue at all. Good stuff - and I don't usually like "peanut butter" in my beer!
