Fra cask på Mossy Well, sammen med Steven: klar gylden med ok skum som varer. Lett syrlig fruktighet, delikat krydret og med slank lettdrikkelighet.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton Another beer that I’ve been drinking for years, but never rated before. Pours a hazy dark chestnut, with a dense cream head and good lacing. Nose has malts nuts and vanilla – but not in any great quantities. In the mouth it is sweet and malty with main flavour that of barley sugar sweets. There is corn in there and hints of caramel and summer fruits as well. Finish is sweet and sugary. A pleasant beer, but a bit bland.

Cask at The Porterhouse, Westbourne, Bournemouth. Poured amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of light toasted malt, caramel, hops, fruit and flowers. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. My highest rated Ringwood beer to date.
