A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Pours a completly clear and quite light golden color, topped with a substantial white frothy head that stays for some time. Aroma of citrusy hops is easy to pick up. Starts sweet and slightly fruity, immediately followed by a decent hoppy and bittery taste. Mild hoppiness in the aftertaste. All in all a very nice IPA.

Cloudy yellow-orange color with white head. Aroma of elderflowers, cat piss, citrus and grapefruit. Also that sweet juice feeling that reminds me of Simcoe. Taste is fruity, hoppy, bitter, with just the right amount of bitterness and just the right amount of residual sweetness, although the backbone is a bit weak. Medium carbonation, good refreshing mouthfeel. A very nice reference IPA. Maybe that intense juice feeling is too heavy, but you don?t feel it on the tongue too much, it?s just in the aroma.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, with a greenish sheen, stable and lacy creamy White head; fresh zesty and grapefruity nose with delicate traces of orange peel; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied, creamy MF, really smooth; lingering bitter orangey, citrussy and zesty finish with some juicy malt. Great, great...

Cask at the Ship Inn, March, Cambs. Presents like your average cask golden: pale gold with a bit of lively head. Smells of apples, pine resin, tropical fruit, elderflower. The taste is an incredible fruity bitter explosion which lingers throughout the sip. Bittersweet citrus/floral aftertaste. A lovely cask IPA from a brilliant brewery.
