With a palate that is fresh, piercing and focused, complemented by soft malt overtones and pronounced citrus flavours. A strong focus of taut, lemony, grapefruit on the finish which is balanced by a dry bitterness.

Old rating from 03-10-15 - Tasted at the Jersey CAMARA beer festival. Pours a rich golden colour with a white foamy head. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, mango & a slight floral hops. Tastes of hops, citrus, floral, peach, and some biscuits leading to malt overtones. Aftertaste is a dry bitterness with a hint of lemon & grapefruits. Overall a very good beer.

Bottle from The Salopian Brewery. Pours a light golden colour with a thin white head.aromas of citrus orange, floral and honey. Taste is more citrus orange and honey with a little caramel and a little peppery spice. Light tangy hops on the finish. Thin to medium body and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Quite nice

Cask in Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and excellent lacing. Clear, but is slow to settle. A positive nose of lemon and hops together. Citrus to the fore in the mouth, with lemon and grapefruit predominating. Less predictably, a definite hint of cracker biscuits ! Texture is somewhat watery, with a fruity finish. OK, but too citrussy for my taste.
