Mooch tasting, courtesy of Sergey, vintage 2019, 2 years old
Black colour, now just lightly carbonated. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, light spices. It's sweet and thick; dark chocolate flavour, an interesting note of tobacco (probably the result of the spices and some oxidization), hot spices, but not overwhelming, quite managed by the dark sugars, light cardboard, light green peppers.
It seems a bit old and oxidized, but it's still good.

750ml (thx, John B. L.!) @ Sales Force office. Appearance: very dark brown with a weak brown head. Aroma: lots of molasses, some peppers, somewhat fruity, some roasted malts. Taste: along the same lines, it's very hot cause of peppers, thick. Overall: too hot.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2019 vintage). Black with small tan head. Cinnamon, chilli pepper, syrupy molasses, cocoa nibs, feint vanilla. Not great.

Jet black with a decent brown head. Prune, dark chocolate and light coffee notes. Chocolate, prune, touch of spicy heat and a long finish.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is spicy, with lots of cinnamon and spicy peppers upfront, followed by subdued cocoa nibs. Flavour is way too spicy, with intense cinnamon and spicy peppers dominating upfront, followed by intense syrupy caramely malt. Really sticky, syrupy base, with way too much pepper and cinnamon character on top. Basically, I don't really like anything about this: too syrupy and too spicy, with little integration or cohesion. A big miss from Angry Chair.

A bit thin, chocolate, rich flavors, some spicy 🌶, could use more 🌶 ok-ish…

750ml bottle. 2019 vintage. Sweetish, spicy and slightly warming with peppery notes, syrup, hot chocolate and cocoa. Quite spicy and warming. Perhaps would've been slightly better fresh.

Bottled 750ml (Mikkeller Dark Bundle, vintage 2019)
Opaque colour, small brownish head. Chilli peppers in the nose with roasted malts and cocoa. Full-bodied. Roasted robust maltyness, sweetish, cocoa, vanilla, coconut, cinnamon and tickling pepper spiceyness. Mellow but robust.
