Bottle, 75cl corked. An unclear one, dark amber in color and with an off-white to light beige head. The aroma is a tad weak, with caramel, some spices and dried fruits. Toffee, some spices, a touch of cardboard and some bitterness in the flavor. Full body, with pleasant carbonation. Some sweetness towards the end. Nothing impressive going on here, but I’d guess it would be more interesting with the proper food. 130215

Draught @ Gastrpub Tuulensuu as "De Vlier Kerstbier"
Aroma is somewhat stale and malty with butter toffee. Also hints of metal. Flavour is rather sweet, somewhat stale and slightly spicy with butter toffee and herbs. Malty and sticky finish, foamy and creamy palate. Typical belgian x-mas ale.

Draught Fast gone yellowish head over dark cola-coloured beer. Liquorice, toffee, Engelse drop , quite dry-roasted. Coffee, dry-roasted but with a sweet, toffee/caramel finish. Goes over without brusqueness, rather well-balanced. Medium to well-bodied, very slick, but a texture as watered-down syrup. Oh well, certainly not bad, but...
