Rödbrun vätska med rejäl skumkrona. Farinsocker, kakor och en aningens liten knippa örter. Mer farinsocker i smaken påfyllt med lite dadlar. En värmande, eldig och fyllig munkänsla.

Deep red, clear with a medium off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel and some dried fruit and yeast sense. Light bitter, medium sweet with a good malt, dried fruit and caramel end. Medium/full bodied, light carbonation, not bad.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 27.09.2024, from Alko, as Christmas Beer, 20211106) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was large, lightly brown and it lasted fairly long. Aroma had Belgian style yeast, malts, dark chocolate and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, grass, Belgian style yeast, candi sugar and bitterness. Aftertaste was toasty, spicy and bitter. A tasty toasty brew with Belgian yeast notes.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured mahogany in color, thick white head. Malts and spiciness, Belgian yeast, alcohol and dried fruits. Sweetish, spicy, boozy. Ok.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has sweetness and spicyness, anise, some dark fruitness and earthyness. Taste has sweetness of caramel, spicyness, anise, light earthyness. Medium bodied. Pretty spicy, good beer.

Flaska från SB. Ca två år gammal. Klar mahognyfärgad vätska med högt skum. Något utvecklad doft och smak. Torkad frukt, julkaka, mörkt socker. I smaken kommer också en kryddpalett med nejlika, muskot och anis fram. Aningen bränd beska. Hyfsat balanserad sötma. Helt ok.

mahogany colour, large, dense beige-ish head; aroma of dried fruits like aprcot, dates and figs, maybe some crerry, too, dark chocolate and moderate Christmans spiciness; taste has the same notes; it is really strange because according to its bottle, it should be a Tripel BUT it is definitely not a tripel - rather a strong dark ale (or a less bodied and complex quadrupel)...anyway, it is good and it is much more important :)
