75 cl. bottle sampled twice @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2013. Beer / Wine hybrid. 60 % worth & 40 % must from Loupiac grape from Château Du Cros (across the river from Sauternes apparently). Limited to 12.000 bottles. Pours a pale light wine golden but less enunciated than wine, head is only some sad white bubbles. Nose is surprisingly raw with rotting grapes (noble rot?), lots of funk, old barns coupled with very sweet white grape juice. Interesting even if I am not entirely certain if it is intentional. Taste is a very sweet and basic white wine, pure white grape juice with lots & lots of sugar still in it, white sugar (apparently fermentation was stopped at some point in order to get this effect), white sugar everywhere, faint hay, slightly warming, sweet desert apples in the back, touch watery & nay completely flat. I had high expectations for this one but I cannot say that I had them fulfilled, no one else seemed to be particularly exited either. Simple, flat taste, middling wine at best honestly.

Sampled @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2013. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Smells a bit weird: hayish, dusty. Taste sweetish, fruity lemonade, white wine. Average body and carbonation.
