25 cl. draft @ De Groote Witte Arend: A: wood brown with a white head – S: sweet with dark fruits, malts, caramel & dark sugar – T: bitter dark fruits with slight caramel and plenty of spices with lots of bitter Belgian hops – B: medium but over carbonated – one of endless number of Proef beers which are sort of just there

Bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Decent smell, nice taste, average carbonation, medium body. Nothing extreme but a nice beer worth trying out.

Herb-würziger, stark karbonisierter Antrunk. Im Mittelteil deutlich milder, kurz zuckrig, mild herb, trocken. Ein wenig langweilig, obwohl das Bier gut beginnt. 6/7/7/6/7/7

75cl bottle at home. called slaapmutske bruin. red-brown with a large thick white head. fruity and spicy aroma. fresh fruits, quite hoppy. rosehip. balanced. mild. nice! flavor is dark fruits, caramel, licorice, malts, and flowery hops. faintly resembles a fresh dark barley wine. a very good use of hops where the faint hops really raise the beer to a new level of drinkabillity.

[33cl bottle] Hazy, dark amber colour with a beige and big foamy white head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with caramel, nuts, subtle citrus-fruity notes and a touch of spicy hops. Sweet flavour, medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Straight malt-accented toasty taste with caramel, slightly fruity notes and coriander spice. Almost dry, sweet-bitter finish with toasted and light hoppy elements. Well-rounded brew [11.I.09].

A lightly hazed brown ale with a thick off white head. Smell of caramel, with musty notes, and dark fruits, like stewed prunes, light yeasty notes. In mouth, a clean crisp nutty roasted nuts malts, burned caramel, with light herbal notes, some light licorice. Considering its lower alcohol content, this one is rich and generous. Bieropholie imports, BB 28/02/10.
