chestnut colour, one inch of beige-ish head; aroma of prune, dried figs, raisins, caramel, slight vanilla and alcoholic notes;taste has similar notes to the aroma; really good one!

Bottle from Carrefour. Pours clear brown/dark amber with an unstable, frothy, tan head. Aroma of coriander, tea leaves, caramel, candi sugar, dried banana, raisin, cookie dough. Taste has sweet caramel, dried fruits over a bready malty base; fruitiness giving off a sourish effect; some soapy coriander in the back but enhanced by a decent herbal bitterness in the end; spices, candi sugar & bread/brioche malts lingering. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. Bloody coriander again but sweet maltiness saves the day.

Misty chestnut brown. Decent off-white head. Aroma: good dark malt, dried, light nail polish. Similar taste. Quite basic. Nevertheless very decent.

A really really nice version of the style. Malty and clean, belgian yeast comes through just enough. Best before is in 11 months, so prob 13 month old beer, not oxidized at all. online belgian beer factory.
