Cask at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 23rd March 2023. Pours clear and golden. Aroma is tart fruits, musk. Taste is tart, wet wood, sour, barrel and musk, complex and fun, great in the sun in Amsterdam

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2020) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with grapefruit, barnyard and sweaty horse. Fruity, tart taste with notes of grapefruit, barnyard, lemon, green apples and a dry and tart finish. Medium body, dry. Flat, with no carbonation. Tasty and well made lambic. Very nice.

[ As Vandenbroek Platte Lambiek ].
ABV: 6.3%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate yeasty, barnyard, funk, vanilla, oak. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, oak, funk, vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20190926]

Cask. Sampled at Arendsnest. Clear rusty orange color, no head. Aroma is mainly wild, funky and some horse blanket maybe. Flavor is nicely dry, light tart, dried fruity notes and wood. Solid. 6-3-8-3-14

On cask at Proeflokaal Arendsnest, pours a hazy copper with a small bubbly white head. Nose is fairly funky and earth, with leather and old wood. Flavour is loaded with old wood, gentle funk, earthy bitterness, and leather. Sweaty finish. Not the most invigorating base lambic, but it has a nice old wood character to it. Doesn't hold a candle to the top Belgian unblended lambics.

Tap. Golden color. Soft oak and citrus in the aroma. Hardly any carbon. Fairly dry. Oak, wheat, citrus, ripe fruit and a hint of peach in the flavor. Hops still noticeable. Complex and delicious brew.

Cask at Arendsnest. 6.3% abv. Clear golden with some white bubbles. Sweet hay, funky, sweaty, dank. Sour with sweet edges and a bit of salty sweaty character. Medium body and no carbonation.
