Sampled from 1 l can from local 'LIDL', best before May 2019. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some honey and a touch of straw. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, some honey and a touch of straw, followed by a short, slightly bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit sugary finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not great but still drinkable.

Faxe gehört zweifellos zu den legendären Bieren deutscher Autobahnraststätten - stilecht in der Einliterdose. Also Agen zu und durch. In der Nase Heu, Maische, im Trunk sehr künstlich süß, metallisch, kipp schnell ab - Gottseidank, dann wässrig. Fürchterliche Plörre.

1l can from rewe in weil, 1.49€, collectors item 113 years old edition. I thought 113 years was in 1901+113=2014? pours a clear pale golden with a steady frothy head. aroma of hay, grains, a hint of rotten eggs. flavour of hay, grass, apple peel, water, cardboard. slightly bitter finish. well, at least it is not too sweet and the can is kinda cool.

Gylden brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter sirup, brent karamell og noe mineralsk. Middels minus i fylde. Lett bitterhet mot brent karamell. Noe metallisk i avslutningen.

Canned, 1000 ml, courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Pours clear golden, small white head. Stinky, malty, grainy, sweet. Has something died inside? Light bodied. Barely drinkable, this one. Packing it in large cans doesn’t help at all.
