New German brewery. Tap at Old Irish pub, Düsseldorf. Deep chestnut brown color with almost no white head. Aroma of caramel malt, light roasty notes, bready and fruity notes. Taste is very similar. Went quickly down after walk through city center.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 7B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L288434 23:26 (BB: 04.2025) AROMA: medium-low toasty malt aroma with some hints of bread crust. APPEARANCE: mdium amber body with slight orange highlights and cristal clear. medium tanned head, creamy with good retention. TASTE: medium-low to low malt notes (toasty with hints of bread crust) with some notes of oxidation (paper). medium-high bitterness with a dry and a bit bitter aftertaste. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium-carbonation. OVERALL: a not so malty-rich altbier maybe due to the bottle age. needs retasting.

It is a nice beer, interesting style, a good mix betwewn malt, caramel, yeast and some hop. I had a good experience during a barbecue in Haute-Nendaz with Fred from Vex and family after that I went to the mushroom and I found a lot of Boletus. 12.08.2016

Aroma of bready malts, light caramel, light nuts. Flavour is malty and nutty, sweet. Not too impressed with this one, there?s not much to it.
