Bottle from The Grumpy Goat, Reading. Reddish amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma has big pine hops. Taste has the same with grapefruit, and a touch of sweetness. Really drinkable and slightly warming from the alcohol.

Bottle at Mother Kelly’s (thanks Bruce). London Bimble. It pours hazy-amber with a small white head. The nose is fresh, piney, varnish, resin, grapefruit, orange and sherbet. The taste is bitter, earthy, resin, grapefruit, tangy orange, lemon peel, alcohol, wood and varnish with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Pretty tasty stuff.

Big thanks to Kris at Kris wines for this gratis bottle. Hazy reddish amber beer, small cream coloured head. Lovely nose of tropical fruits and pine. Palate is softish with modest carbonation. Taste follows the nose and adds hop skunk and mellow cedar spice. Finishes smooth and dry with cedar spice and mild hop bitterness lingering on. A rich IPA.
