Bottle from Wine Raks, Aberdeen. It pours jet black with a decent light tan head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, bitter - sweet, dark chocolate covered coffee beans, umami, malt loaf, dried fruits, toasted fruit cake, jammy fruits, dull vanilla and rocky road. The taste is smooth, dark roasted malt, burnt toast, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, chocolate covered coffee beans, umami, limited alcohol presence, slightly charred and toasted spice. Finish is smooth chocolate ice cream. Fulsome body and moderate, foamy carbonation.

Draught de valhalla. Opaque pur. Small cream colored head. Malts and licorice smell. Light mouthfeel. Flavor is toffee and malty syrupy. Not my favorite.

Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, lots of chocolate, yeast, some coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Pretty good, like most Troubadour beers.

Barwa niemal czarna, nieprzejrzyste, piana beżowa, dość obfita, drobna, całkiem trwała. W aromacie czekolada, czarna kawa. W smaku półwytrawne, ciemne słody, deserowa czekolada, czarna kawa, paloność. Goryczka do średniej, nieco brakuje, wysycenie niskie do średniego, ciało dość lekkie. Niezłe, ale brakuje nieco większego konkretu.

Servida en schnifter. Color negro, opaco, espuma beige oscuro, cremosa abundante y duradera, el aspecto es imponente. En nariz notas de malta tostada, chocolate, café, toffe, dátil...riquísimo. En boca es de cuerpo completo, densa, cremosa, oleosa, intensa, notas maltosas torrefactas, ligero regaliz, cacao, chocolate puro a la taza, final seco, amargo y finamente licoroso. En mi opinion es una suerte de cruce entre una belgian dark strong y una imperial stout, genial, buenísima, sublime. Brava
