Voici le retour de Connexion maintenant en format de 375ml ! Nous avons ajouté une énorme quantité de noix de macadam pour Connexion. C’est un véritable dessert aux noix bien « huileux » et riche sur des saveurs intenses de noix.

0,375l bottle from Hoptimaal webstore. Very dark brown, almost black beer with small head. Aroma and flavor is cream, nuts, vanilla, coconut, lactose, some booze and dried fruits. Smooth and tasty.

Smooth, nutty and sweet with some creamy lactic notes, some earthiness and roastiness. A bit unbalanced, too much lactose here.

Creamy, boozy, nuts and vanilla. Very nice for a non-ba.

(On tap @ Noctem, Quebec City, Oct 5/19) Pours black with a small deep brown head. Notes of deep chocolate fudge, slightly nutty cacao richness, moderate coconut, macadamia nut is pretty retiring and a bit buried by the unctuously rich body but gives some nutty hits, some vanilla accents, moderate roast, coffee undertones, fairly sweet but not cloying with a drying choco-coconut finish and long aftertaste. Full oily to creamy body and no alcohol, soft carbonation. Had several small glasses of this because it was so good, exquisite balance for a pastry stout.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium size dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of liquid fudge with nice mix of sweet black chocolate notes, coconut and vanilla with some residual sugar also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of liquid fudge notes with some creamy sweet black chocolate notes with some light coconut and vanilla with a sweet finish. Body is full with oily texture and good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol notes. Very enjoyable pasty stout with good drinkability. Not sure I could distinguish the macadam nuts thought.

Power tasting at Salesforce, bottle
Pitch black colour. Very good liquid chocolate, moderately sweet, blend of roasted nuts, touch of fatty coconut, alcohol barely noticeable.
Wonderful.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with a small dark brown head. Aroma brings out the macademia nuts upfront, with a hint of coconut, and light sweetness. Flavour is unbelievably complex, with intense macademia nuts, a tiny hint of coconut, and light lactose. The macademia nuts are so potent, tasting like they've just come out of the oven freshly roasted. So nutty, roasted and potent. Phenomenal stuff.
