Zumbi was a Brazilian anti-imperialist hero. Like his attitude, our Zumbi presents a powerful complex character of coffee, dark chocolate, hazelnut, caramel and licorice wrapped in an extremely balanced black fluid that will drive your senses through a wind of bittersweet terrified emotions.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of couverture, fruity hints of plum and morello, overtones of roasted nuts. Taste is roasty dark malty, chocolately, minimally alcoholic, hints of rust and blood, tar, a metallic touch; soft to flat carbonation.

22/4/17: Too sweet, a bit cloying. Somewhat watery. Mouthfeel is good, though, nice and creamy. Not great, but quite drinkable.
21/3/22: Lot 02/2015, BB 11/11/2020. Small puff, black, bit of tan head. Smell is roasty, some sweetness. Body is very thin, with sharp carbonation. Taste is a tad acidic at first, followed by loads of strong roast. Survived pretty well, just that body is meh.
