(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Tuulensuu, 20251110) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toasted malts, candi sugar and dark fruits. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, toasted malts, dark tart fruits, spicy yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, dark fruits and bitterness. A nice blend of mildly tart flavours and sweet malts. Very dry.

330ml bottle @ De Kelk, Bruges. Pours a very dark brown, large off-white head. Aroma brings soft amber malts, gentle caramelisation. Continues to taste, relatively mild flavour profile, balanced caramelised sweetness, gentle bitter nudge, dry finish. Not as rich and sweet as this style can be, but a nice sipper.

Bottle from Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe (well past expiry date) – drank at home. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a brief transient frothy tan head. There's dried fruit in the aroma, alongside prunes, herbal cough medicine and hints of chocolate. The it mouth it is quite sweet with plenty of dark fruits, molasses, golden syrup and hints of cola and alcoholic strength. Later some bitterness comes through in the dry finish. This is decent, but somehow rather unexciting.
