2016 catch up - A high concept pilsner. It was good, but very lively and went everywhere when I tried to pour it. Very pleasant flavour with a nice underlying bitterness from the hops. A real kick of alcohol too.

One of the best pilsners in the uk. Great biscuity malt profile. Super clean. Cereal. Hey and straw. Lemons. Super crisp finish

Bottle at home, 13/11/16. Nose is sweet malt, caramel, vanillia, straw, grains. Taste comprises vanilla esters, straw, toasted grains, bread, sweet tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok pils, if a touch sweet.

500ml bottle: BBE 11/2015. Poured into an 1980’s Schultheiss sleeve from Berlin at home in 02?2015. Beer obtained from the brewery. Clean, clear and bright: golden with a full creamy textured snow white blanket on top. Like most beers in this type of style the aroma is weak, some grass and grain hints, but nothing more. Nice blend of flavours within the taste, semi-sweet maltiness with a mini-hop bite at the end, again grass and grain like the nose. More than decent, I liked the full body, unusual for the style.

Bottle from Eebria [191214]
Light blonde, soft haze, bubbly white head that dissipates away
Aroma of soft sweet pale malts, light fruits
Taste of soft fruits, dab of cereal, soft sweet pale malts, light citrus, light spict hops, quite malty, nice flavour
Palate - Medium carb and body, light sweet, bit oily, smooth texture. Finish as main flavour, soft sweet, slightly dry, soft bitter bit spicy finish
Overall - Comes across as a decent Pilsener

Bottle at the chriso May 2014 tasting - London. Pours clear yellow with a white foam head. The nose is pretty basic with nips of hay and paper. Light to medium sweet with notes of dry biscuits, faint citrus, some bitter straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with mild pale bread, hay, some grains, lemon rind. OK.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and airy. Superfine carbonation. Sweetish floral tang. Touch of dried fruits. Fluffy malt underneath. Airy dry finish. Hides the abv well.
