Aroma of fruits, citrus, sweet malt, yeast, some spices, alcohol. Flavour is quite sweet and boozy, with a pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Surprisingly drinkable, but they went a little overboard with the sweetness.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Amber coloured brew with an citrus taste and hints of honey. Pretty well balanced brew unless with the high alcohol volume.

Very strong ’edelbier’-style blonde ale, with off-white, dense head and hazy, deep peach blonde colour. Aroma of citrus peel, lime, rose petals, walnuts, grass, unripe peach, apple and white sugar. Fruity taste, sweetish and perhaps even a tad sugary, yeasty, with pale and slightly caramelly malt sweetness in the middle, full and smooth, warming alcohol in the end as expected, but nothing too obnoxious or astringent, sweetish and mildly hoppy. Quite okay.

Bottled from Lekker Bier, 10% ABV, BB 04.05.2015, large sample, served in a trappist glass. Almost clear golden color, short frothy head. Aroma is fruity, strawberry, slight buttery, some grassy hop, spicy yeast, some high fusels, slight green apple. Quite sweet in taste, just slightly bitter, medium alcoholic. Quite sticky and sirupy. Not as dry and high on carbonation as most Belgian counterparts. Seems to be all malt and no sugar, or at least not as much as 10-15% of the malt bill. Its a bit one-dimensional, all going malty and alcoholic. Not as bad as some ratings say though, if you look at the style.

Bottle shared at ABC Beers tasting. Pours hazy golden with a thick off white head. Aroma of "the strawberry milkshake hop", along with caramel. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter with the bitterness lingering long in the finish. Medium bodied with loft carbonation. A very strange example of the style due to the hops.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast and rather surprisingly raisins and a little malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter. Medium bodied with a thin texture and average carbonation. Lots of big liqourice alcohol on the palate which is totally dominating the beer. Nice to taste, but I struggled to drink the whole bottle and surely that can’t be good for a brewer?

Bottle @ home. Hazy orange color with some yeast particles in it, medium sized fairly thick white head. Smell malts, orangepeel, some yeast and a hint of sourness. Taste malts, lightly fruitpeel, alcohol, sweetness and lightly peppers. High carbonation, medium body. Unbalanced imo.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 22.01.2011
I picked up this one just for the ABV. Aroma has some fruits and alcohol. Flavour is sweetish with some fruits, apricot and hints of citrus. Oh, and also some alcohol. I was surprised how good this was. Or then I just like the flavour of booze.

Bottle 330ml @ gunnfryd
Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, raisin and dried fruits. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
