Bottle. A quite clear one, golden in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. Sugary, lightly yeasty nose with lots of fruityness. Alcohol too. The flavor is sweet and fruity, with a touch of pale malts. Full-bodied, warming and almost sticky on the palate. Pleasant bitterness towards the end, but it should have more to deal with the sweetness. Overall, not world class in any way, but it’s drinkable. 120107

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy deep golden with a tiny off-white head. A slight fruitiness in the nose, heavy fusely alcohols. Solid body, very sweet fruits, some yeast and a massive booziness. The hops do add a little balance to the sweet and the booze. 260911

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of yeast, malt, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, malt, and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry yeasty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottled 330ml (BB 12/2012)
Thanks bierkoning! Deep orange color, small white head. Lots of dark yeast in the bottom of the bottle. Orange fruityness and white peppery spiceyness in the nose. Medium to full-bodied. Very sweet cloying, sugary and fruity. Some spiceyness from yeast. Orange peels. Way too sweet.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy blond beer, tidy white head. Softish palate, semi dry and smooth. Sweet malt with a streak of honey. Tangerine and orange. A light touch of brandy! All very well joined up and delivered with smooth creamy malt. Finishes semi dry. An unexpected treat!
