Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a hazy, copper body with a nice beige head. Sugary, caramel nose with some beef-stock. Grains and fruityness too. The flavor is sugary and sweet, with caramel and roasted malt notes. Quite fruity, and with a grainy touch. Full-bodied and effervescent, slightly sticky and warming. A pleasing, sweet, delicious and warming beer, challenging the styles. (080823)

Muddy amber with a small off-white head (Long rested bottle, poured very carefully. I prefer less sediment). Aroma is quite unique and surprising. It has grainy and spicy hoppy notes that matches the lager yeast and Saaz, but I can see the Irish part as well in some caramel malt aroma - does it work? I’m not convinced, I thought it was a bit of a mess. The flavour is very malt forward, with bread and caramel. Medium sweet with a little hop bitterness and some fruitiness. The finish has an unpleasant bitterness that I can’t quite place - hops, old yeast, or husk tannins?

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a dense off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and burned caramel and some fruit. Quite full-bodied with sweetish burned caramel and fruit and an astrigently bitter finish. An Irish Ale at 9.5% ABV?? - well, that’s a first. 230808

Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy muddy sahti-like orange brown color, small white head. Aroma has banana, cardboard, yeast and caramel. Flavor is very yeasty, peppery, fruity, finish to Saaz hoppy bite. Bitterish-peppery aftertaste. Sweetish and weird.
