Blonde Ale aged in used Chardonnay barrels from local Sonoma County wineries. It is aged for about 9 to 15 months (depending on the age of the barrel) with lots of brettanomyces, lactobacillus, and pediococcus added to each barrel. Medium bodied with hints of oak and Chardonnay, funky brett characteristics, with a nice, long sour finish.

Bottle: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is winy, woody, little funky. Light wine notes, barrel notes, not too acidic, doesn't hit you over the head. Sour. Slight sweetness. Pretty good.

Bottle thanks to Maxi. Pours hazy bright orange with a small white head. Aromas of brett, pineapple, citrus, mango, estery. Taste is super oaky, grapey, bretty, crackers, peach, tart and light bitter finish. Very delicious.

Batch #3, from Solan. Thanks! Blonde, cloudy, foamy head. Lemon, grapefruit and leather in the aroma. Sour, oaky flavor with vinous notes, leather, lemon and flowery hops. Astonishing, complex and delicious beer!

Bottle shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a hazy light orange amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeasty, light mineral, citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sour, with a light, crisp, fresh, tart orange citrus, dry, yeasty, light biscuit dough palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Fido at share. Glad I finally got to try this, as they didn't have it on when I was down in Santa Rosa. Aroma and taste are Sublime, smooth light tartness, more if the Brett notes. Right in alignment with the way Russian River does these beers. Well worthy of its reputation

On tap at the brewery. Pours gold. Grapefruit, nectarine, white grape, strong oak, white wine vinegar, sweet peach syrup stuff, funky barnyard complexity. Medium body. Great.
