Tall can shared at Josh's and Sunshine's rooftop. Appearance: cloudy blonde with a weak white head. Aroma: citrusy (sour oranges, grapefruit, lemon and some lime), some flowers notes. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: good one.

Opaque, yellow. On the nose, this is fairly strong on the alcohol, with bright papaya sort of subtropical notes. Malts are a bit thick. A bit burny, but also has a nice depth of hop fruitiness.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, with pithy tropical fruits, and citrus. Flavour is pungently juicy, with tropical fruits, citrus hops, and moderate dankness. Tropical and dank. Lovely.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 7/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, guava, blueberry, strawberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, guava, blueberry, strawberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, guava, blueberry, strawberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.6%. Overall this is an awesome NEDIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; awesome soft feel and not aggressive. Awesome complex hop bill of BRU-1, Galaxy, Simcoe, Denali, Pacific Jade, Vic Secret, Summer, Ella, Belma, Loral, and Mosaic. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected.
