My friend Jacob was so nice as to guide the extremely explosive beer towards me when he opened it - so I got drenched - but still we could sample it. The color is an unclear orange and it has a small but disappearing head. The aroma is slightly sour and slightly sweet with notes of grapefruit and strawberries. The flavor is very malty sweet with notes of grain, acidicness, and hints of caramel. The end is somewhat hoppy. It has a good balance - but ends on a slightly sour note.

Ochre-pale amber; nearly no head after a few seconds. Cookies in the nose, sweet grapes as for making sherry with. Bitterish taste with a very outspoken cookie-crystal malt character. Bitterish-herbal flavour, not identifyable. Deposit gives it a very creamy, yeasty flavour. Medium-bodied; creamy, liqueurish finish. Nice, but this is a beer that is much better served very young. This sample is not overdue, and yet it is already quite subject to oxidation.

Golden color. Average aroma with some paper hints, pumpkin. Dry taste, again this impression of paper… Dry finish, poor hops, candy aftertaste.

Bottled. Orange coloured, cloudy with good lacing. Big cinnamon aroma. Sweet and hoeyish, yet acidic. Rounded and clean with a cinnamon finish that has traces of hop bitterness.
