Bottle from the brewery. Jet black, oily, medium brown head. Aroma is deep, dark, roasty coffee, luscious chocolate cake, thick oaky bourbon, sweet vanilla, and coconut. Mouth feel is full, and oily, coating my mouth, with a perfect carb. Notes of dark soy, dark roasty coffee, sweet, woody bourbon, toffee, and vanilla. Medium bitterness, alcohol is well hidden, excellent stout.

Rated at Suomenojan jätevedenpuhdistamo. Smooth, slightly roasty and heavy with coffee and bourbon vanilla notes, chocolate sauce, cocoa and oaky sweetness. Quite smooth but complex and balanced.

Tasting at Salesforce, bottle
Dark brown colour, near black. Heavy spice, maybe cinnamon, also strong earthy character from the coffee.
Good.

Lemon grass, vegetal barrel notes. Jet brown with a decent beige head. Spicy, dark, bitter and a long barrel chocolate note. Finish is very woody and dry.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals some strange spicy elements, with sawdust, smoked malt, green pepper, and bourbon. Flavour is more impressive, with lots of bourbon barrels upfront, followed by vanilla, cocoa and some green pepper. Nice bourbon character, with a spicy, earthy finish. Tastes much better than it smells. Good stuff.

2017 version. A deep dark stout with a thick frothy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light licorice, coffee, light peated notes, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla, light powdery character, cherry blossom, light coffee, very nice and complex. On tap at Lupulus.
